Notes
The Currajong was a 67-metre iron screw steam collier. On 8 March 1910, while entering Sydney Harbour fully laden with coal, she was rammed on her port side by the departing passenger liner SS Wyreema. As the wreck lies beneath one of the main shipping lanes in Sydney Harbour, diving is restricted to the early hours of the morning when vessel traffic is minimal. This dive had unusually good visibility for the site — around 5m throughout, which is a very rare occurrence.
