Notes
Second dive was much like the first — fairly shallow with nice clear waters. Large concrete blocks had been dropped on the sand to act as a foundation for corals to grow on. Decent fish life with the usual reef inhabitants of the area. On the sand in between the coral patches, lots of Sand Gobies and their companion Pistol Shrimp, which are always fun to see. Near the end, one of the open water girls in the group ran low on air and had to be taken up. The other continued with us and saw a turtle resting on the reef. She then excitedly announced the fact to everyone on the boat after surfacing. A very cute reminder of that excitement you experience when you begin diving and see something interesting — it brought a smile to all our faces.
