Descended only to be met with very murky water and limited visibility — barely over a metre in places. This lasted for around the first 15 minutes of the dive until we moved over to the isolated reef. From here the water gradually cleared, and by around 40 minutes into the dive visibility had improved to about 15m. Found a huge lobster hiding under an overhang near the edge of the reef and the sand. A turtle was also busily trying to eat something under some coral near the end of the dive, with an audience of fish surrounding it waiting to scavenge anything edible that was shaken loose. Ascended from the turtle to 5m for a safety stop and continued watching from above. Near the end of the safety stop, the turtle also ascended to about 2–3m near us before finally swimming away.
