Notes
Ron's Reef is almost a Sunday tradition at this point. We descended to top of "Small Rons" visibility was quite good on the top of the reef. Lot of anemone fish living in brightly coloured anemones with green or purple tips. Heading South West we passed a group of 4 divers from another local dive shop name "Go Aquatic" before hitting the edge of the reef and descending down to near where it meets the sand line. Visibility at this point wa probably 8 - 9m with the water being fairly clean. At about the 30 - 35 minute mark we swam across the sand to meet the isolated reef that is parallel to "Small Ron's". Visibility here dropped to 5 - 6m with alot of suspended muck in the water column. On the isolated reef found a number of Lionfish and ended the dive with a green turtle that was resting on the bottom. Its not really my favorite dive site but it was a bitter sweet experience as it was our last dive in Malaysia for this trip.
