On the second dive, we descended from the boat to a largely coral bottom with a number of fish. Snorkellers were everywhere on the surface from the day boats moored in the area. We headed west and then followed the wall down to around 25m depth, heading north. The current had dropped back during the surface interval, so diving conditions were very pleasant with the same 25m+ visibility we had on the first dive. Like the first dive, marine life at depth was limited but increased as the depth decreased. We turned the dive and headed back south at around the 30-minute mark. There was an increasing stream of DSD and larger dive groups at shallower depths as well. By the 40–45 minute mark, I was increasingly trying to balance my decreasing non-decompression limit against dodging other groups of divers by staying deeper. By the 50-minute mark, we were back above the wall in the shallows and able to spend the remaining time of the dive admiring the corals, before ascending directly to the ladder of our waiting boat.
