Notes

It was my first dive with my new Mares ADJ 62X regulator. I started the dive thinking it was very noisy and feeling like I was using a lot of air, but my computer mostly reported 0.7 bar/minute usage. About 30 minutes into the dive, I decided to take the regulator out of my mouth to actually look at the venturi. Unlike my old regulator, turning it clockwise reduces the airflow and anticlockwise increases it. That explained the noise and the effort while breathing, and I was able to relax and enjoy the dive. The dive was nothing too amazing compared to the others we've done here, but the calm, sunny conditions and the sardines hanging around the 5m mark more than made up for it during the safety stop and time in the shallows.
