Entered the water via the southern stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, the depth was around 1.6m, so it was just a simple matter of putting the fins on and descending. Swam slowly toward the wall; near the edge, I saw a large turtle going up for breath. Then dropped down the wall. The current was gentle but definitely noticeable when moving outside the protection of the wall. There was a noticeable thermocline at around the 30m mark. Visibility was a bit milky on the top of the reef, but on the wall, the surface was easily visible from 25m. Under a crevice, I found a pair of banded pipefish and a moray. There were also large schools of sardines at depth in the cooler water. At about the 40m mark, the large turtle from the start of the dive made another appearance and was rubbing the top of its shell against a mooring line. Crossed back across the top of the reef, coming from the north, and exited at the same stairs we entered.
