Notes

Conditions: Second dive of the day. The mild outgoing tide we'd left at the surface interval had turned and was now running in fairly hard. Near the edge of the reef at around 12 m I felt like I was working hard, but — funnily enough — descending deeper, the current wasn't as pronounced. Marine life: Not much at depth. On the way back, I think we ran into the same turtle from the first dive. A group of inexperienced divers from another group saw what we were looking at and came over, but fortunately the divemasters were very organised and made them circle around to give us some space. We left them to watch, as it was getting crowded. Spotted an octopus at around 10 m, and some freedivers and a very panicked young lady doing a course underwater at around 5 m. Otherwise, a fairly uneventful dive.
