Notes

Entered the water via the stairs near the cave. Sunny weather, ocean was dead flat one of those days that being in or near the water is no hardship. Swam slightly South East before descending in a few metres of water. Continued finning to the edge of the wall then descended about 50m North of the cave entrance. By 7 minutes into the dive we were entering Marigondon Cave. Swam along the North wall, admiring the sea fans on the ceiling and walls. Saw the plaque for a dead diver toward the back before turning back toward the entrance exploring the South wall and I dropped down a bit to better examine the floor. Exiting the cave we turned North following the wall and slowly ascending. We were headed against the current but it was gentle enough to not cause any major strain. Saw a small turtle swimming above us on the wall, a small moray, solitary banded pipefish, school of huge snapper below us on the wall and a number of nudibranchs. Reaching the top of the wall at around 10m we headed back North West toward the exit. On the top of the reef number of pipefish including a green one in amongst the sea grass. Lots of Sand Gobies, another moray and right near the stairs to exit a baby mantis that was out and running around. Dived with Mactan Scuba Dive Shop.
