Notes
On the surface interval the boat returned to the shop for another set of regs for our DM. This unfortunately changed the second dive site that was originally planned due to logistics, with the dive being closer to Kontiki reef but further south. Reef top was 5m sand, broken coral and more a slope than a wall to begin with. As we headed north the topography got more pronounced and wall-like. The fish life at depth wasn't that great; found a moray hiding in the reef and a few nudibranchs, but nothing too exciting. Most of the fish life was up at less than 10m depth. Found a pair of board shorts tangled on some coral in the shallows that I took and gave to the boat crew upon surfacing.
