Entered the water on an incoming tide, current was persistent but not overbearing. The sea was almost dead calm with minimal wind chop or waves. Descended to the sand area on top of the wall at a depth of 7-8m. Before heading west to meet the wall and descended to around 20-25m. Letting the current push us in a northerly direction following the wall. Saw a couple of small moray eels, a bunch of nudibranchs, a collection of small shrimp, banded pipefish, a few boxfish, angelfish and a few big snapper hanging off the wall. Around the midpoint in the dive there was also a small swim-through a few metres long in the face of the wall around 20m depth. The wall also had a number of overhangs and large sea fans. Second time diving this site, but last time was north to south direction. Has a lot of pretty features but compared to the wall at Kontiki Reef I find Talima Sanctuary a bit lacking. Dived with Feel Deep, the staff were friendly, and their little Bangka (traditional Filipino style of boat) was super comfy to dive from for 4 divers and an instructor / DM.
